Transparency, fragility and weightlessness are the qualities that /Denikin/ values and reveals in the materiality of his works, and at the same time form a coordinate system within which the imagery of a specific exhibition is built. Scenes, plots and characters (as far as they can be spoken of in a specific case) are only one of the components of the visuality of the work. The pupil, guided by the artist, overcomes this layer, focusing on the shadows and reflections cast by the conventional pictorial space into the three-dimensional world.
This is an important point - what is happening on the surface of a collage or sculpture multiplies, and it is impossible to say what is primary - the image that works like a slide, its projection on the wall or the reflections cast on the ceiling.
The space organized by /Denikin/ is arranged according to shamanic patterns - the world of people and the world of spirits are separated, but correlated, synchronized and reflected in each other.
