Harvest

Artists create their own poetic world. Moreover, in this world, there is an equalization of very different characters, even inanimate ones. An insect knight, a flower, just a texture on a canvas suddenly explodes, or a strangely dressed character sits next to some kind of semi-abstract painting. There is a total mixing of everything, deanthropomorphization, rejection of anthropocentricity, everything is equalized so much that sometimes the characters fall into the picture. The poetic component makes this combination of incongruities possible. "Eroticism," Bataille writes, "is a crazy world.; a world whose ethereal outlines only cover the hellish depths."
