Ivan Govorkov is an artist of a distinctly intellectual type, prone to paradoxes. He has an excellent command of a wide variety of materials and technical capabilities. Having mastered the visual languages of both classic and contemporary art, he seems to be playing at the boundaries of the incompatible.
