In 1994, Kerim Rahimov started his "Human Project".

In paintings and drawings created on the basis of media images, the artist presents anonymous group portraits. He meticulously reproduces this or that scene, which he discovered on the pages of mass media. The characters of the "Human Project" are connected by a certain emotional state — pain, joy, anger, pride. Kerim Rahimov asks the question of what humanism is in the era of mass media, when an event does not exist, it is created, when history does not have a priori reliability, it is constructed before our eyes by the media.
