"Crows" series. №3, №4

The works are captivating in their diversity of configurations, angles, compositions; in some sheets it is difficult to recognize the crows, which appear as abstract figures, sea animals or even fish. They are deliberately graphic, which is emphasized by the variety of spots reduced to indistinguishable figures, emphasizing the pure line of the graphic statement. Sometimes the light gliding of the crows gives way to the energy of the flapping of black wings, which seem to foam the air, resurrecting phantom images of the fear of death, firmly associated with these birds in the song epic. But in the end, individual four-part blocks refer to a holistic statement, strengthening and shading the content of each of them.
