Artists Elena Gubanova and Ivan Govorkov have been working together since 1990, realizing their creative tasks in the mainstream of abstract art.
Elena Gubanova's works are a dynamic fusion of rich textures, various materials, complex volumes and extraordinary color schemes. She uses color possibilities boldly and freely. These are complex combinations of rich color sound, and the complete "absence" of color, which is replaced by shadows and light. The creative tasks that Elena Gubanova sets herself are in the mainstream of "spiritual abstraction".
Ivan Govorkov is an artist of a pronounced intellectual type, prone to paradoxes. He excels in a wide variety of materials and technical capabilities. Having mastered the pictorial languages of classics and modernity, he seems to be playing on the boundaries of the incompatible.
