A graphic series by Alexander Shishkin-Hokusai illustrates the complex non-verbal relationship between vegetables and other creatures. The Onion Heart series is inspired by the famous story of Cipolino. It intertwines decay, onion smell and class struggle.
The works about the onion boy, made in ink and rapidograph, have been created by Shishkin-Hokusai since 2019, and gradually developed into a kind of diary in pictures.
