"Orchids are one of those plants that grow outside the ground, attaching themselves to trees, and the roots receive moisture from constant rains. After seeing them in their natural environment in Thailand, I realized that these plants are best suited for the installations that I create, because I have the opportunity to place the roots in an airy volume where I can supply water from time to time, creating ideal conditions for orchids. When the flower in the first object of the series began to bloom, I decided to document this process, because it reveals the name of the project "Flower Formula".

Botanists can describe any flower using a formula — a set of symbols and numbers. And any knowledgeable person can reproduce the image of a flower, the shape of its buds, color, and other details by looking at this formula. I really liked this idea because, on the one hand, it's about science, and on the other hand, it's about life in its most literal form. Flowering is an episode of happiness for a plant. And for an artist, the moment when he gives birth to an idea, understands what kind of project he wants to create, is also a flowering."
