The album is dedicated to the exhibition of the artist Kerim Rahimov at the Marina Gisich Gallery, where his legendary “Human Project” was presented.
The book presents Kerim's media theology, written by Victor Misiano, and some works from the exhibition. Media theology is presented in 2 languages: English and Russian.
The images of the “Human Project” go back to magazine publications, which are completely different in genres and nature. The aspect of the interpretation of media images is revealed, as a result - their “impoverishment".
Kerim himself tends towards spectacular, deliberately theatrical installations. Intentionally or unconsciously, the figures look directly at the viewer. Kerim Rahimov's imaginative world is a world of signs. Initially, there is no attempt to re-aestheticize media reality. For the author, this is a study that, when viewed, can “reveal” some touching relationship between human and media reality.
Without even noticing it, we find the human to be completely identical to the submedial.
The exhibition was included in the official parallel Manifesta program.
