PARAZIT: Between PUKHTO and the Hermitage. A study of the artistic life of the PARAZIT association in the period 2000-2015.
The book is a study of the artistic life of the PARAZIT association in the period 2000-2015.
Today, PARAZIT is one of the most striking creative initiatives in St. Petersburg. It is a kind of creative laboratory where a mutually beneficial exchange of skills and experience takes place with irrepressible young energy. With the main group's composition unchanged, a large number of young talents pass through it every year, and the brightest and most talented remain in the group.
This publication examines the work of artists who took the most active part in the activities of the association in the period 2008-2013.
The publication was carried out with funds from the sale of artists' works at the auction “PARAZIT. Just Art”, held at the gallery in 2016.
The publication contains illustrations and is aimed at art historians, artists, students of art universities, as well as anyone interested in contemporary art.
